Globe Food Equipment was founded in 1955 by Sam Worcester of Sacramento, California. A former meat cutter, Sam traveled throughout Northern and Central California as the exclusive distributor for Globe Slicing Machine Co. Based in Sacramento, California, Sam represented Globe equipment to meat retailers, butchers, restaurants, and institutions for over 25 years until his retirement in 1981. With changes in technology and the industry as a whole, Globe Food Equipment now addresses market reach by partnering with numerous national and international food equipment manufacturers as sales, service, and support partners. We provide solutions for a wide range of businesses that process, package, prepare, and market food.
